Michael Jordan will take his trademark case against Qiaodan Sports to China’s supreme court. The company had built its reputation around the former Chicago Bulls superstar without his consent, imitating the player’s signature persona with his Chinese name “Qiaodan” and famed jersey number “23.” Jordan first sued the Fujian province-based sportswear company in 2012, but the local courts ruled in the opposition’s favor.
