For the second year straight Chance The Rapper is launching his anti-violence initiative for the city of Chicago for Memorial Day Weekend. Him and his brother Tyler led the #SaveChicago campaign this weekend, last year and the city went 42 hours straight without a single shooting during the holiday.
This year Chance continues to use his celebrity and influence. Him and the Mayor of Chicago will be posting community events in support of anti-violence initiatives on Twitter. There’s plenty of ways to get involved but minimally you can spread the word using #SaveChicago #PutTheGunsDown and #FaithInAction.
We finna party and protest and protect all wknd. I watched the city go 42 hours without a reported shooting this same wknd last year
