After dropping the sixth volume of its automotive journal, Blackbird takes an in-depth look at the issue’s cover star: BMW’s 1999 V12 LMR Art Car. A collaboration between the German auto giant’s Art Car program and contemporary American conceptual artist Jenny Holzer, the automobile is especially notable for the fact that it took home the first place prize at that year’s Le Mans race. Check out the video above and look for the latest issue of the publication — dubbed “Kinetic Theory” — now on Blackbird‘s website.
