The BMW M6 already boasts 560 horsepower, but those looking for some extra speed do not have to look any further as BMW has unveiled the M6 Competition Package. Upping the horsepower to 600, the torque also jumps from the standard 501-lb-ft to 516 in the new package. This results in the car running at 63 mph from a standstill in just 3.9 seconds, or 124 mph in 11.8 seconds. The package sees an electronically limited 155 mph, but the special M Driver’s Package (if chosen) comes with the unrestricted 189 mph. Apart from speed, the car also boasts firmer strings, dampers, anti-roll bars, and re-tuned steering for stability and control. In the meantime, the M6 package has details for release in Europe with a Stateside announcement pending.
