JAY Z Disses Apple, YouTube and Spotify During TIDAL NYC Concert

JAY Z has dissed rival music streaming services in a freestyle at a private TIDAL party in New York over the weekend. TIDAL has come under criticism in recent weeks, with critics claiming that it hasn’t lived up to the promise of its star-studded launch. Its founder disagrees however and, after taking to Twitter to defend the project a few weeks back, has gone on the offensive and attacked rival companies on stage. The freestyle, the full version of which you can check out above, contains the line “Jimmy Iovine offered a safety net, Google dangled around a crazy check, I feel like YouTube was the biggest culprit, Them n—as pay you a tenth of what you’re supposed to get.“
