As part of Jordan Brand‘s 2015 spring/summer release is the upcoming Air Jordan 5 Retro “ProStars” sneaker. Drawing inspiration from the early ’90s animated television series ProStars, which starred Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and Bo Jackson as world-class athletes turned superheroes, the shoes flaunts a simple, black and white color motif matched with a colorful midsole. Infrared accents, as seen on the tongue and midsole, coupled with a poison green strip, and translucent, blue bottom sole effectively recreates the themed flair of the cartoon show. Speckled detailing on the tongue and midsole finishes the styled shoe. Marked with the retail price tag of $190 USD, the latest Air Jordan 5 Retro is set to arrive on Nike’s webstore next Saturday.
