The Spiegel House by carterwilliamson architects

Located in Sydney, Australia, carterwillamson architects have designed a beautiful three-storey home that is spacious and filled with light. Given complete architectural freedom from the owners, the designers turned a traditional Victorian-era home into a beautiful and architecturally interesting space. Throughout the home, mirrors are used to enhance light as well as giving off the illusion of larger spaces. The use of mirrors inspired the name “The Spiegel House,” which means mirrors in German, and cascades beautiful shadows and shapes all around the home.
