Afew x ASICS GEL-Lyte III "Koi" Teaser

In conjunction with Japan Day, which falls on May 30, Afew and ASICS have collaborated on a special edition of the GEL-Lyte III dubbed the “Koi.” The shoe was originally created back in 2012 as a 1-of-1 handmade edition in support of the day that celebrates Japanese culture and lifestyle, but lucky for us are being made more widely available this year. Full details are still being kept a secret but today comes the first teaser of the collaboration. The design looks to incorporate some of the fiery orange-red, black and off-white colors that the shoe’s namesake fish is known for, with the shoes being released in a special wooden bento box. We will share more details on these as they become available, but for now we can look forward to May 30 which is the day these will release exclusively at Afew.
