In the newest trailer for the upcoming action-thriller San Andreas, the singer covers the 1965 track “California Dreamin‘” by The Mamas & The Papas. However, unlike the joyous original version, her rendition of the track is slow, melancholic and emotional, matching the film’s disaster-themed scenes.
