After being musically featured on films like Annie and Fifty Shades of Grey, Sia continues to expand her musical realm in the cinematic sphere. In the newest trailer for the upcoming action-thriller San Andreas, the singer covers the 1965 track “California Dreamin‘” by The Mamas & The Papas. However, unlike the joyous original version, her rendition of the track is slow, melancholic and emotional, matching the film’s disaster-themed scenes.
