To celebrate its 30th anniversary as well as what many hoped to be the boxing event of the century, Jordan Brand released a super luxe version of Mike’s first signature sneaker, dubbed the Air Jordan 1 “Pinnacle.” Resting atop a crisp white sole for contrast, its upper features a synthetic snakeskin material with 24-karat gold accents throughout, including a “1985” and a “MJ23” badge on each respective heel. Initially unveiled during the NBA All-Star Weekend with two additional colorways, the black iteration made its retail debut this past weekend at Jordan Brand’s Flight 23 store in Las Vegas for $400 USD. Sneaker News reports that it will also be available at select retailers starting June 20, so stay tuned.
