Wow, talk about a guest appearance. The artist formerly known as Mos Def, took the stage with A$AP Rocky this past weekend at London’s well-known XOYO Club, as a part of British radio DJ Benji B’s residency at the Shoreditch haunt.

Yasiin Bey performed Black On Both Sides’ “Ms. Fat Booty” and his 1997 single “The Universal Magnetic.” It’s nice to see that Bey has still got it, considering he hasn’t released any new music in awhile. Aside from this recent appearance, the rapper has also covered seven classic MF DOOM tracks, as a part of Culturebox’s BeyOnDoom series. The clips date back to December of last year, with the last one having dropped back in February. Check out those covers here.

Although the video footage is shaky you can still see Bey in all of his greatness — even if it is for only two songs.
