Tidal Music Service Introduces New High Fidelity Audio Test

JAY Z’s music streaming service Tidal has introduced a new high fidelity test that will help users differentiate between high definition audio and the standard MP3 quality you might expect from iTunes. Running off the fact that compressed music weakens as it is played, Tidal’s latest test presents five audio samples and asks you to choose either ‘A’ or ‘B.’ Each track segment can be heard as a lossless 1411 KBPS FLAC/ALAC file or as a 320 KBPS AAC file. The difference is notable and offers a certain depth you may be unfamiliar with should this be your first time experiencing high definition sound.
If you answer all the questions correctly, Tidal will reward you with a 14-day free trial as opposed to their standard offer of a week. Take the test at Tidal to find out more.
