For its latest collaboration, Stockholm’s Sneakersnstuff takes cues from the classic 1974 Swedish film Dunderklumpen to introduce a special take on Le Coq Sportif’s Flash. Written by Beppe Wolgers and animated by Per Åhlin, Dunderklumpen is notable as the first animated Swedish film and stars a mystic character by the same name who solves his loneliness by using magic to bring toys to life — a problem considering the toys aren’t his own. Taking cues from the flick, the “Dunderklumpen” combines the vibrant blues of the character’s own clothes with the bright yellow flair of his cap, executing the retro runner in smooth leather and perforated detailing.
Finished with purple tongue labels and co-branding, the limited edition “Dunderklumpen” Flash is due out April 11 at all SNS locations and the retailer’s own web shop.
