Amazon Launches Dash for One-Touch Shopping

Amazon is currently testing a new method for reordering everyday products such as diapers, paper towels, razors and the like. The “Dash” is a small plastic button that can be stuck anywhere; when you are running low on the product just hit the button and Amazon will automatically reorder and deliver the product. The buttons are an extension of Amazon’s new Dash Replenishment Service, which can be integrated into Web-connected products so that coffee machines, printers and washing machines can have necessities like coffee, ink and detergent ordered automatically once they are running low. The Dash Button is free for Amazon Prime members, but is currently still in testing mode and available only by invitation at this time.
