Sam Smith‘s tour had to be put on hold today as the prolific singer regretfully announced via his Instagram that he had to cancel the rest of his Australian tour due to a vocal hemorrhage. “I have been vocally exhausted for awhile now however last night in Sydney I had a small hemorrhage on my vocal cords,” he writes. Although he promised a re-scheduling of the tour dates, the injury seemed to be taking an emotional toll as well. “This kills me,” he ends the note. Here’s to a speedy recovery Sam.
