Kendrick Lamar and Glasses Malone have known each other for almost 10 years, and as the former explains in this video, their friendship runs much deeper than music. In the newest installment of Mixing-A-Masterpiece, Glasses Malone gives a behind the scenes look while he mixes his masterpiece, “Thuggin.” In the process, K-Dot and Glasses briefly explain their “day one” relationship, and also give their thoughts on today’s culture. Lamar evidently respects Malone, and recognizes that without the support of veterans like him, TDE wouldn’t be where they are at today. Watch above.
