Kanye West Is the Executive Music Producer on Slavery Drama 'Underground'

The upcoming TV drama Underground, is the latest project that will be bestowed with Kanye West’s favorable, and highly sought direction. It has been announced that Mr. West will be reprising his role as musical executive producer, curating and possibly lending tunes that have yet to be heard as part of the series’ 10-episode soundtrack score. Kanye is adding yet another lead role to his growing resume that spans both the music realm, having most recently executive produced Big Sean’s, Tyga’s and Rihanna’s upcoming album, and cinematic productions such as this year’s Losaidas, in which he is noted as co-executive producer alongside Dame Dash. Considering Kanye’s strong views concerning modern-day enslavement, a flawed system that inspired the formulation of his unforgiving Yeezus album, one can only anticipate a similar sound to be translated over to Underground.
