Comic legend Frank Miller is confirmed to be writing a sequel to the Dark Knight Returns. According to DC Entertainment, Miller is on board to write the latest comic installment in what can now be regarded as DC’s own Dark Knight trilogy, with The Dark Knight III: The Master Race. It will drop this fall, and the series will help mark the 30th anniversary of the classic The Dark Knight Returns, while definitely setting up hype for the upcoming feature film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Miller took to Twitter for the first time in five years to announce his return, and it seems to be the perfect time with Netflix’s Daredevil on the rise as well as Batman’s hold on pop culture in the past few years.
