Bat for LashesNatasha Khan lends a creative hand to multi-talented musician John Metcalfe for a single off his forthcoming album, “Just Let Go.” Metcalfe has a made a name for himself as a member of Durutti Column and has landed some impressive placements as an arranger for artists such as Morrissey, Blur, The Pretenders, Coldplay, Peter Gabriel and others. He’s an accomplished violinist with decades of work behind the instrument, and now he has a new studio album entitled The Appearance of Colour. His new single with Natasha Khan is a somber, key and string-driven slow-churner that showcases Metcalfe’s masterful, deft abilities as a composer and arrange. You can listen to “Just Let Go” above. The Appearance of Colour will see release on June 8.
