Amsterdam-based footwear label Filling Pieces continues to emerge as a wearable alternative to traditional brands, offering up astutely trendy colorways of its sneaker silhouettes. Here we find the brand channeling Pollock-esque brush strikes for the “Splash” colorway of its flagship Low Top. An all-white tanned leather upper has been meticulously patterned with splatters of red, yellow and blue, reminiscent of Pollock’s own No.5 1948, widely regarded as the American artist’s opus. Check out this special iteration of the Filling Pieces Low Top and look for it at select retailers such as Feature Sneaker Boutique beginning April 23.
