After short preview during the GRAMMYs on Sunday, we now receive the first red-band trailer of Straight Outta Compton, featuring an introduction from Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. Set in Compton, CA during the mid-’80s, the N.W.A biopic will be released on August 14 and will chronicle “the meteoric rise and fall” of the iconic rap band and will tell “the astonishing story of how these youngsters revolutionized music and pop culture forever the moment they told the world the truth about life in the hood and ignited a cultural war.” On that note, hit the play button above.
