Stockholm-based Jays introduces the second generation q-JAYS earphones, the world’s smallest earphones with exchangeable cables to date. Incorporating advanced audio engineering techniques conventionally used for loudspeaker monitors, the q-JAYS deliver high-quality sound and a seamless audio experience. Features include tailor-made acoustic filters, dual balanced armature drivers, built-in dual speakers for multiple frequencies, bass ports and removable protective filters. The earphones include tiny, custom-made, threaded SSMCX connectors that are made with gold plating and durable threading. They are made with metal injecting molding, laser cutting and CNC machining. And finally, the q-JAYS are finished off with a solid matte black coating over stainless steel that makes for a tough, scratch-resistant surface. The q-JAYS earphones will be available for purchase soon online for $449 USD, and will come with a matching sleek black case.
