Founded back in 1966 by Doug Tompkins as a specialty mountaineering brand, The North Face has grown into one of the most iconic brands in global culture. Here the brand pays homage to one of its most legendary silhouettes with the Mountain Jacket collection – a limited four-model set including distinct colorways of the jacket. The silhouette itself was originally introduced in 1985, marking a new standard of city-ready, mountain-tested gear for the public. The collection itself consists of the “Heritage,” “Limited,” “Rage” and “Seasonal” Mountain Jackets, each of which draws on various aspects of the silhouette’s heritage. Get acquainted with this rare collection with the photos above, and explore pricing and purchase options over here.
