In our continued coverage of Streetsnaps, we are transported to the streets of Milan for Women’s Fashion Week 2015. Touted as a hub for the creative interpretation of the term ‘style,’ these snaps open a dialogue on the importance of layering and how unique outerwear can pull eclectic pieces together. Down, leather, parkas, and denim presented in both subdued and boisterous colors are all prevalent in a wide variety of silhouettes, both form-fitting and exaggerated. Graphic prints emblazoned across people’s backs offer an array of varied imagery, tongue-in-cheek reimagined logos (see Korean brand MELLOW PLANET’s AC/C8 bomber jacket) and Arabic text. Tonal boots and muted trainers act as the staple footwear choice at Milan Fashion Week. The images above exemplify what we’ve come to expect from one of the leading fashion capitals of the world.
