Nike always does a great job of honoring its home in the Portland area, from outfitting the Oregon Ducks down to its latest release through Nike SB. Here the skateboarding imprint offers up a new take on its recently-dropped SB Free silhouette, honoring Portland with the “Rose City” colorway. The camouflage upper pays homage to the strong outdoorsy identity that underlines the city, while bold red hits at the Swoosh and tongue logo riff on the city’s nickname. Rounding out the design are manhole covers from the city streets, which are printed on the insole. All these features rest atop a neat SB Free outsole, which features skate-specific flex grooves for maximum dexterity. Pick this version up at your local skate shop beginning February 11.
