New Balance has just dropped the Distinct Weekend 990 “Distinct Weekender.” The name and design are inspired by the classic, waxed canvas bags, and the shoe is meant to evoke the idea of weekend getaways. The sneaker features a premium Horween leather upper with suede and mesh overlays, and worn vegetable-tanned leather details throughout. The lagoon, tan and ruby colorway features a dark navy upper, a beige-tan heel tab and NB logo tongue patch, and contrasting red accents found on the “N” logo on the side as well as the Vibram outsole.
