Kansas City Royals’ pitcher Jeremy Guthrie has decided to announce his indefinite retirement as a sneakerhead in a parody. Uploaded on Guthrie’s YouTube account, the video — which includes a fake NBC Sports insignia — features the pitcher at a press conference professing his loss of motivation from sneaker collecting as he does not ”have anything left for [himself] to prove.” Take a look at the former sneakerhead’s collection in the video above, which includes a pair of the exclusive Back to the Future Part II replica Nike MAG alongside a swathe of Air Jordan renditions.
