Parisian photographer Laurent Chéhère unveils his latest series — aptly titled “Flying Houses.” With a proclivity to imaginative ideas, the Frenchman’s project draws from his love of cinema and personal exploration around obscure neighborhoods of his hometown. Aesthetically reminiscent of the Disney film Up, Chéhère showcases a surreal world of floating balloon-like architecture created through a blend of digital manipulation with analog photography. Five new images from the series are being showcased at Muriel Guépin Gallery in New York until February 22. Enjoy a preview of his collection above.
