Since his first appearance in a DC comic book in 1939, Batman has been a favorite for many superhero fans. The caped crusader’s run on the big screen is almost as storied as his appearances on paper, first debuting on film in Columbia Picture’s 1943 serial, Batman. This Jacob T. Swinney-supplied video presents a chronological supercut of Batman incarnates – including George Clooney’s dreadful adaptation in 1997 and Christopher Nolan’s celebrated franchise starting in 2005. The video showcases an interesting viewpoint into the production of a Batman movie — while the aesthetic of the villains, setting, costumes and Batmobiles may change, the billionaire orphan Bruce Wayne always remains a chiseled, clean-cut gentleman. Enjoy the video above and let us know which is your favorite in the comments below.
