India Shawn & James Fauntleroy - Outer Limits

After linking up for “Floating Away” last March, songstress India Shawn and James Fauntleroy have collaborated once more for a new song entitled “Outer Limits.” “Outer Limits” is the second of what will end up being several collaborations, as the pair have a collaborative EP in the works and on course for a March release. “Outer Limits” is the EP’s title track, and serves as the duo’s first single in support of their forthcoming EP. Speaking to Billboard about today’s offering, India Shawn gave the following quote regarding “Outer Limits” and its process:

“‘Outer Limits’ was the first song we created for this [EP]… I went straight to the studio from LAX, and James asked where I wanted to go with the project. My immediate response was, ‘The outer limits!’ He was like, ‘You sure about that?’ And no more than 20 minutes later he was free-styling what would be the title track to our project.”
