Beantown stalwarts Concepts and New Balance resume their productive – and, might we add, stellar – collaborative partnership in the new year, teaming up for a new take on the 997. Carefully crafted in New Balance’s very own Skowhegan, Maine facility, the “Luxury Goods” 997 is luxuriously executed with thick domestic pig suede and leather accents. The shoe’s bold orange upper is informed by the linings of some luxury brands, the notion of which is underlined by a mosaic, branded insole.
