Le Château de Vigny, a historic castle built in the 16th century hits the market for $5 million USD. Located 30 miles outside of Paris in the commune of Vigny, the castle was originally constructed in 1507 for a wealthy French cardinal, Georges d’Amboise. Designed by architect Charles Cazot in a neo-Gothic style, the French castle is decorated in medieval details and highlights a water-filled moat, which surrounds six turrets protecting the castle’s 37,000 square feet. Inside the castle itself is a number of luxurious features, including a large medieval-crest fireplace room, high chandeliers with wooden details, stonework and rich tapestry decorating the hallways, and a professional kitchen and baking laboratories fit for a king. Le Château de Vigny is listed for $5.7 million USD at Immo Best International realty.
