A Closer Look at the adidas Yeezy Boost

Take a closer look at the coveted adidas Yeezy Boost. Kanye West‘s first collaborative sneaker with adidas physically embodies the merger of high-end fashion with the latest in sportswear technology. The high-top shoe resembles a boot silhouette, and embraces a minimalist approach in its construction. A lush, grey suede upper sits atop a grooved, internal boost insole that offers maximum comfort and full energy reimbursement with each step. A canvas dynamic strap arches across the sneaker’s body, before giving way to a perforated vamp toe box, vertically placed much higher than usual due to the steep incline of the internal boost insole. Hiking boot style shoelaces climb towards the Yeezy Boost’s risen collar lining, completing the simplistic design.

adidas has announced the wider global release information surrounding the Yeezy Boost. Beginning February 21 (tomorrow), the shoe will be available exclusively in the United States on adidas’s website. On February 28, the sneaker will release at adidas Consortium accounts worldwide such as Solebox, as well as adidas Originals flagships in Berlin, Seoul, London and Shanghai. What’s more, on March 28, the sneaker will be further distributed to select Foot Locker Europe stores, restocked in London and Berlin, and exclusively on adidas.com in Europe. The retail price has been set at €350 EUR (approximately $400 USD).
