Nike has taken to Twitter to announce that the Tinker Hatfield-designed Kobe 11 will be making its debut next week. On Monday, December 14, to be exact, and all done over live-streaming app Periscope. It was previously speculated that Kobe’s poor condition would move up the release of the shoe, and this seems to confirm that. As the basketball legend just announced his retirement, we definitely have high hopes for what might be his last pair of signature sneakers from the Swoosh. However this isn’t the first time Nike’s taken to the live-streaming app for announcements, as they previously unveiled the LeBron 13’s this way as well. Stay tuned as we will keep you updated on the new pair of Black Mamba-approved kicks.
