Martin Shkreli Steps Down From Turing Pharmaceuticals
Good riddance.

Less than a week after buying the Wu-Tang Clan’s one-of-a-kind album Once Upon A Time In Shaolin for $2 million USD and getting arrested on securities fraud charges, financial entrepreneur and generally trash human being Martin Shkreli has resigned from his post as chief executive officer at Turing Pharmaceuticals. You may know Shkreli best for hiking the price of an HIV medication by over 5,500%, raking in outrageous amounts of cash and then attempting to parlay said cash into social capital by buying expensive hip-hop albums and offering to bail out the legally-troubled Brooklyn rapper Bobby Shmurda.
Shkreli’s recent legal troubles have rendered him untenable as an executive officer, and he has been replaced by Ron Tilles as interim chief executive, former chairman of the board. Many expect the repercussions will effect Shkreli’s other holdings. Maybe we’ll get to hear that Wu-Tang album after all.
