Nike Pays Tribute to the Windy City With the Air Max 90 "Chicago"
Mild saucin’ on you.
Nike’s latest Air Max 90 silhouette is a salute to all things Chicago. The gray tonal upper pays homage to the city’s Greystone residential architecture, while the green ivy collar lining harkens back to the Friendly Confines of Wrigley Field; the insole is dedicated to the city’s signature condiment — mild sauce — which also doubles as a perfect descriptor for the kicks themselves. The soles are decked out with references to some of the city’s famous streets and of the 312 area code gets its placement on the inside of the tongue. There is no official release date for these just yet, but you can keep tabs on them via Nike’s SNKRS app.
