Optimus Prime expands his wardrobe with a new get-up.
A Bathing Ape has once again teamed up with Japanese toymaker Takara-Tomy to release a limited edition red camo version of its Optimus Prime action figure, originally released last year in green. Here, Optimus Prime’s traditionally blue components have been colored in a darker shade of red with accents of BAPE’s signature camo pattern, while the streetwear brand’s ape head logo has been stamped in white on the Autobot leader’s shoulder. In his hands, Optimus wields his mighty Energon axe in one hand, and ion blaster in the other. The Transformers x A Bathing Ape MP-10R MASTERPIECE CONVOY Red Camo Version is set to release in select BAPE stores across Japan for the price of $157 USD.
