SHOWstudio Announces Its First Ever Film Fashion Award
Brought to you by the studio founded and directed by legendary fashion photographer, Nick Knight.
In collaboration with QIC Global Real Estate, SHOWstudio has recently launched its first ever film fashion award. Founded and directed by legendary fashion and documentary photographer Nick Knight, SHOWstudio has established itself as the pioneer of fashion film. The institution is notable for its works produced in tandem with brands such as Tom Ford, Rick Owens, John Galliano, COMME des GARCONS, Maison Margiela and Alexander McQueen. For the studio’s new award, filmmakers around the globe are invited to showcase their skill, ideas and creativity through fashion film. Alongside a panel of industry experts, Knight himself will be judging the film entries. Aside from bragging rights, the winner can look forward to a hefty grand prize: a cash prize of £10,000 GBP (approximately $15,400 USD) to put towards his or her next fashion film; a fashion film tutorial session with Nick Knight; RED Digital Cinema’s latest professional camera, RED Raven; a Sigma 35mm F1.4 DG HSM | Art lens; and a trip to Australia for the dedicated screenings of his or her winning works.
