There’s been no shortage of renderings over the years taking a stab at what the less-than-adorable toddler cast of hit ’90s cartoon show The Rugrats, but according to the show’s storyboard illustrator Eric Molinsky, we’ve been getting it wrong all along. Contrary to many depictions of Tommy & Co. as model-esque millennial hipsters, Molinsky argues on Studio360 that deviating from the show’s awkward Eastern European-influenced artistic style defeats the whole purpose.
