Experience the First-Ever Selfie From Space
Selfies just got an upgrade.
As part of Heineken’s #SPYFIE initiative, which coincided with the launch of Spectre – the latest installment from the James Bond franchise — the Dutch brewery teamed up with Urthecast to capture groundbreaking selfies from space using the first publicly accessible camera on the International Space Station. We experienced this momentous occasion first-hand, traversing through the Mojave Desert via dune buggies during sunrise, before reaching the engineering marvel that is the Hoover Dam and having our selfies shot alongside legendary WWE wrestler Dave Bautista — widely known as Batista — who also plays the role of henchman in the latest 007 film. Be sure to watch the above video for a full recap of the event and share your thoughts about this revolutionary selfie technology in the comments below.
