New Teaser for Miles Davis Biopic Starring Don Cheadle
The film based on the jazz legend will premiere at the NY Film Festival this weekend.
In a newly released teaser we get a taste of the forthcoming Miles Davis biopic titled Miles Ahead, which also happens to be Don Cheadle’s directorial debut. Based on the iconic jazz legend, this crowdfunded film stars Cheadle and will premiere at the New York Film Festival this Sunday. Although brief, the short clip shows Cheadle-as-Davis in a studio session with his band. The footage gives us a glimpse at the actor’s portrayal of a soft-spoken Davis, effectively contrasted with his powerful trumpet-playing.
