As we anticipate for Kurt Cobain‘s upcoming posthumous project, a compilation of his unreleased material to be released alongside his documentary Montage of Heck, we are graced with a new track from the project — a cover of The Beatles‘ “And I Love Her.” The director of the film, Brett Morgen, reveals that “nobody in Kurt’s life — not his management, wife, bandmates — had ever heard his Beatles thing.” The recording was perhaps a guilty pleasure of his, as Cobain was once quoted as saying, “I like The Beatles, but I hate Paul McCartney.” Listen to the track below.
