Converse First String Chuck Taylor All Star '70 "Space" Pack
An out-of-this-world take on the ’70s classic.
Converse’s premium First String imprint is offering up an out-of-this-world take on an old favorite with the introduction of its “Space” editions of the Chuck Taylor All Star ‘70. Taking cues from intergalactic space travel and, specifically, the significant events in space that occurred during the 1970s, the pack sees a black and white astronaut-esque colorway — complete with reflective 3M pops and rocket ship-inspired graphics — alongside a second pair that takes cues from the splashdown balloons that allowed spacecraft to safely re-enter Earth’s atmosphere. For the second pair, a multi-beige nylon upper is coupled with a welded print detail, leather toe cap and translucent marbled outsole. Both limited edition silhouette’s are set to hit select Converse retailers and converse.com this Friday, October 23 for $120 USD per pair.
