Chinatown Soccer Club x Ringleaders Football Club Capsule Collection
Two football collectives from New York and Montreal join forces to create a capsule collection with amusing imagery.
Canadian football club, The Ringleaders, and New York City’s Chinatown Soccer Club have teamed up to create a co-branded collection to commemorate the second annual La Coupe Des Coupes in Montreal. The last collaboration from The Ringleaders was with Vault by Vans. The lookbook draws inspiration from lamentable ’90s class portraits and features staples like windbreakers and t-shirts, both adorned with the teams’ logos in contrasting black-and-white settings. The line is also meant to be utilitarian to fit the needs of the players on the field, as the windbreaker is outfitted with reflective 3M material. The two groups formed a bond in 2006 during The Ringleaders inaugural season. Ever since then, the group has met up annually in New York for Chinatown Soccer Club’s Invitational, which includes other teams from around the globe. The CSC x RFC capsule collection will be available exclusively through Montreal-based retailer Off The Hook, both in-store and online.
