The menswear silhouettes take cues from military and aviation designs, and include bomber jackets, blazers and tapered jogger pants, with plenty of zippers, straps and external pocket detailing throughout. With an abundance of long, draping layers, the outfits have ample texture. Patterns are kept to a minimum in this collection — while some outfits have a predominantly all-black aesthetic, right down to the laced-up combat boots, there are lots of dark navy blues and olive greens for the fall/winter season. The collection stays true to Y-3’s sportswear aesthetic and features adidas’ signature Three Stripes as subtle accents.
