The Weeknd is facing legal trouble after his stay in Las Vegas last weekend. The Toronto native arrested early Saturday morning for allegedly punching a police officer. According to TMZ, the singer, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, was involved in a fight at the Cromwell Hotel around 4:20 a.m. PST. Police arrived on the scene, finding Tesfaye involved in the fight. An officer apparently pulled Tesfaye into an elevator, and that’s when the singer allegedly punched the officer in the head. After he was released on bail, he posted the below photo on Instagram with the caption “escaped from Las Vegas,” and tweeted the same thing.
