Positioned between its standard offerings but below the premium Mercedes-AMG models is Mercedes-Benz‘s new AMG Sport line, of which its second member is the C450 AMG 4Matic. The all-wheel-drive C450 thus builds on the C400’s 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V6, which has been upgraded to 362 hp and 384 pound-feet of torque, resulting in a 0-60 time of 4.9 seconds with an upper electronic limit of 155 mph. Other features include the Mercedes 7G-Tronic automatic gearbox and AMG adaptive sport suspension with three-stage adjustable dampers. Meanwhile, the exterior has received a minor facelift with a more aggressive front fascia and a new rear bumper with a matte iridium diffuser, with chrome and gloss-black elements throughout. The cabin has been fitted with black MB Tex upholstery with red contrast stitching on the dash and doors, AMG-specific seat upholstery, and a three-spoke steering wheel in Nappa leather.
