With the new year still fresh in our minds, California-based contemporary brand Chapter dug deep into the history of two seemingly disparate movements to inspire its campaign for Fall/Winter 2015. The brand refers to the cyberpunk genre boom of the 1980’s as well as the Space Race period of the 1950s. Both movements were pioneering, perhaps even predictive expressions on developing technologies at their times; Chapter drew on the notion of an unforeseeable future for the “UNKNOWN” campaign. As such, the collected pieces make use of asymmetrical construction, translucent fabrics, and analog-style details to create ominous effects. Enjoy this first look at Chapter’s Fall/Winter 2015 campaign above.
