Shwood Winter Eyewear Release

For the holiday season, Portland-based eyewear imprint Shwood continues to celebrate its exquisite craftsmanship via the release of designs from its “50/50” and “Selected” collection. Never far from interesting re-appropriation of materials, Shwood has made eyewear from just about everything — salvaged redwood, barn wood, whiskey barrels and more — and this release is no different. First up is the Gunmetal Titanium Walnut G15 Polarized Francis 50/50 Sunglasses, a retro-styled piece made from red brass and features hardwood temple tips and G15 polarized lenses. Next up is the Ebony/Gld/G15 Polarized Lens Eugene Select Sunglasses, a sleek silhouette made from luxurious hardwood with gold-finish metal rim and bridge adding to the refined look. Both models are finished off with Shwood’s trademark logo at the temple and debossed branding at the hinges.
