Embodying his French roots and unique aesthetic, Pigalle is Stephane Ashpool‘s brainchild. Beginning as a small store in 2008 offering simple T-shirts, sweats and hats, we fast forward to 2015 and are now seeing another fully-fledged collection from the popular designer. Hugely influential in streetwear and basketball culture, Ashpool’s label has grown exponentially, but he still manages to maintain the aesthetic that has become so successful. For fall/winter, Pigalle’s offerings are unsurprisingly street- and sport-inspired, with bucket hats, baseball caps, drawstring coats, varsity jackets and sweats — what Ashpool does best. However, he manages to fuse fashion and sportswear in such a tasteful manner, by including outerwear such as wool coats and blazers in interesting textures and materials, creating standout looks.
